Eating Well Is An Art You Can Learn
TO EAT IS A NECESSITY.
TO EAT WELL IS AN ART YOU LEARN.
Over the years I have been critical of my body and mindset.
It took me time and compassion to understand my body and respect what it was asking from me, as well as its daily requirements.
It took me time to love myself too.
I’m not talking about vanity. I am talking about loving myself in the way I spoke to myself because I realized that my body and I were in this together, forever. We needed a united front.
SHARING MY Wellness EXPERIENCE WITH YOU
What I will share with you is what I began to do. The time frame is not the most important. It was never about the time, but about the parts of me changing and how it made my body FEEL and then LOOK.
Take small steps
Small steps felt manageable and helped me achieve a lot and it became enjoyable and satisfying. I stopped making comparisons that are futile and fruitless.
Do you
I grew my own tree of wellness. Grow your own tree of wellness because it’s your body that you reside in.
Self-respect
I developed compassion for my body and started to respect my health. Have compassion for yourself including your mistakes. You didn’t know any different before and you have to learn new ways of being in your body, but you have to be prepared to put the work in.
It’s a gift
I learned that my body is a gift. Learn that it is like unwrapping a gift of discovery - yes it is complex and challenging at times and for reasons not always possible to fathom.
But hey, it’s your body and you really do have the power to change.
Self-love
Love all parts of you even if don’t feel lovable. This is also a learned habit and necessary to work on for the change you wish to be and feel.
Personal growth
Growing is understanding yourself better. Know that growth does not just happen one time in our life - it happens repeatedly and you can reinvent yourself over and over again.
Relationship with your body
Build a relationship with your body that has love, compassion respect, and self-awareness once you implement these feelings you will be more in tune with yourself.
Think differently
Old ways won’t open new pathways in the brain. You have to leave the past behind that’s not where they change it. The change starts when you decide to think differently about your future health.
