5 Reasons Why Things Are Not Working Out

Today I wanted to talk about the reasons why things are not always going as planned and what to do about it:

The law of action

Action must be taken for us to obtain what we want in life. No actions = no results.

The law of cause and effect

Nothing happens by chance. Every action and every thought will cause a response or consequence.

The law of attraction

This demonstrates how we create the things moments and people that come into our life. It is our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions that produce energy. Our energy attracts similar, positive energies.

Negative attracts negative.
Positive attracts positive.

Setting and achieving goals is different

When you are setting a goal, you are operating on a rational level. When you work to achieve it, you are operating on an emotional and habitual level. The desire for a goal is energy in motion, not in action. The achievement is the action, not the motion or thought of it.

Spending time focusing on trying to feel good

…but not dealing with the bad is what makes you feel bad. We are conditioned to finding the positive in every moment but the fact is some moments are painful and we must acknowledge that because when you bury feelings at some point they will come out. Don’t just deal with the good things, deal with the bad things that you feel, do or say to become more self-aware.

Stay present, stop pushing and pursuing happiness, stop chasing things, people, or money - it will all come to you when you practice gratitude and appreciation for the now.

Living in the present means a phone call with a friend, a silent practice, going for a run or walk, helping a person in need by cooking or doing them an errand, or even smiling at a stranger.

Just as you use my recipes to prepare meals every day, use these 5 points as wellness ingredients and try incorporating the law of action, attraction, the cause and effect into your daily routine.

Think about how you're approaching your goals and improve on the journey to achieving them. Stay present and don't sweat the small stuff, but don't neglect and hide the bad, painful moments.

Deal with them as soon as they appear to regain a healthy balance.
