I don’t advocate a particular style of eating because things change rapidly and everyone is different. What I do advocate is a broad spectrum of ingredients and a balanced mix of protein, carbohydrates, fats fiber, and water.
Feeling nourished results from eating mindfully at every meal and choosing the best food sources for an individual, whilst taking into account their budget and, also very important these days, time.
It is always a good idea to source locally grown products. I think shopping locally gives us better access to interesting ingredients and helps create a better variety of meals.
We are also inclined to buy less when we shop locally or have a box of organic fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish delivered to our door.
Farmer’s markets can be a great source of inspiration too.
You can explore the city and try shopping in a new area or use an online food delivery company, which gives us access to produce from all over the UK and is beneficial to everyone since we’re supporting small businesses.
Great health starts with you and nutrition is fundamental for any lifestyle change - not just because of weight loss, but also to allow you to remain healthy and disease-free.
